About Tough on Springs

Tough on springs is collection of photographs depicting my advancements into the art.

The name comes from the book 'Ghost Towns of gold rush America' and references the strain pressed upon natural resources at a sudden change in population. This links to the greed and touch and go approach that our society has. Mass capitalism enforces materialism and disposability. The images here try to create a picture of this lifestyle and the constant control it presses upon us as individuals.
